Yuri Gordeeve

Yuri Vitalevich Golouta, male, is the most striking and talented painter in St. Petersburg. His first works appeared in early exhibitions of the 1990s and immediately caught the interest of art critics and professionals. Yuri Golouta studied at the Odessa Art School, which is the oldest art school in Russia. Especially in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the school had close ties with the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts. Many students from the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts, like Konstantin Konstantinovich Stapssky, had taught at Odessa. Most of the school's graduates went on to further study at the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts. In the early 1980s, Yuri Golouta visited a famous exhibition of Romanian painter Corneliu Baba held in Odessa.
